Draped Apes is a new art garage rock group out of Nashville. Led by multi-instrumentalist Timoscles, the group revolves around a steady core of longtime collaborators, which expands and contracts according to each song’s needs.

This wide-ranging effort celebrates the futility of life. Inherently contrasting, and drawing on primal emotions like anger and desire, the result has the vulnerability of a singer/songwriter but the bravado of rock and roll.

Supported by artist-friendly label Last Night from Glasgow, the group debuted live in the UK for a tour in Autumn 2024. Timoscles is building on his last project, Andre Salvador and the Von Kings, whose final album reached the top 40 on the UK Independent Album charts. Draped Apes tour frequently. In 2025, their second and latest single “Making It (Up)” has found airplay in Nashville on WXNA and abroad on BBC 6music and John Kennedy’s Radio X program. ASBO Magazine says it’s “cerebral without being pretentious, and raw without being messy.” Glide Magazine called the band, “Fearless innovators hellbent on creating something they can call their own.”

Draped Apes also wrote, performed, and produced the theme song for the environmentally-focused podcast Sustainable in the City, and have been featured on Earth Percent’s annual compilation album.
